Would it be possible to bring a revised version of the LISP notes out
as a SAILON or AIM ? The proposed revisions include:

1)throw out the system crap at the end. It was included simply to keep
   UCLA happy.

 2)more problems and examples.

 3)more detail in most sections

 4)more on explicit control structures

 5)beter speling

Agreement looks good. I accept and approve.
I'm shaping up a development program in which
PUB might play a key role, so I can make use such scheduling
 information as you have. Thanks,
 Steve

 Re: PAGER
 - - - -
YOUR MSG ABOUT THE PAGER WAS ORIGINATED FROM ISI,
SO I RESPONDED THERE. BASIC RESPONSE IS THAT I DIDN'T
KNOW ABOUT IT BEFORE, BUT DO NOW. PAGER FREES UP IN
NOVEMBER. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED SEEMS LIKE THE
WRONG RULE FOR DISPOSING OF THE PAGER, SO I FEEL
INCLINED TO CONSIDER THE OPTIONS. DO YOU WANT IT
SO THAT YOU CAN CONVERT TO TENEX? I THOUGHT YOU
WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL NEW HARDWARE ARRIVED? LET ME
 KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS.

I THINK I ALREADY HAVE STEVE.LE3 FROM BEFORE YOU
WENT TO ENGLAND. SEND IT AGAIN IF YOU WANT OR
 IF IT'S CHANGED.

 Re: BELL NETTING

YOUR DIAL-UP SERVICE IDEA IS OK. I'M NEUTRAL
ON IT BUT SEE NO REASON WHY YOU SHOULDN'T PURSUE IT IF YOU LIKE.
MAYBE I WILL COME TO LOVE IT. THE 1108 AT UTAH IS HOOKED TO
THE PDP-10 THERE BY SOME SIMILAR AD HOCERY, AND I SUSPECT THAT
 THERE ARE OTHER CASES.

I ASSUME YOU DON'T WANT MONEY.

I believe I gave you a copy of the notes about a year ago. There are
about 250 mimeo. pages in a folder. I might have another copy around
 if yours have vanished.

I am revising and expanding the notes because I hope to `moonlight'
at one of the colleges in the area. I enjoy teaching and am convinced
that LISP should be the first language for undergraduate C.S.
